Ford VCM II IDS 98.01

The new diagnostic interface (representative tester) comes with software version 98.01
– VCM II is the new diagnostic tool from Ford dealerships and uses IDS software.
– The VCM II interface and IDS software offer complete diagnostics on Ford cars equipped with a 16-pin connector.
– It will be required for cars produced after 2013 (the old interface will no longer work on new models) and supports VMM and CFR
– The VCM II has an outer rubber protection which makes it more resistant than the old tester.
– CFR replaces VDR
– CFR consists of an optional cable that allows technicians to perform a diagnosis with greater accuracy (not included in the package)
VMM – Vehicle measurement module
CFR – Customer flight recorder
VDR – Vehicle data recorder
Functions:
– automatically recognizes the car type
– reads and erases error codes
– real-time information with playback function for the main car computers
– guided problem identification
– rewriting new software for existing computers
– programming and installation of new computers (PCM, ABS, Instruments, airbag, injection pumps, etc.)
– key programming
– injector coding
– setting, adjusting or removing cruise control
– regeneration of particulate filters
– brake bleeding
– resetting the steering angle
In short, it has all the functions of the original product used in dealerships.
For programming it needs outcode-incode.
This tester works installed in VMmachine. You need at least 5Gb free space in to desk, and at least 2Gb RAM is recommended (1Gb of RAM is used by VMmachine).
The tester is delivered with a DVD containing software and a CD with a video installation tutorial and an outcode-incode program.
Installation via Teamviewer is not possible on this tester!
