A Wash is a FACTORY RESET to a truly Blank ECM.

This allows any software to be installed on the appropriate ECM without having the Personality Mix-match codes,
all totals are reset to 0, and 18 digit passwords ARE NOT REQUIRED for initial setup – programming on the blank ecm.
